depends on what kind of music you want...the crazy elephant in clarke quay has really good rock/blues live music, there are shows at the esplanade stage by the water sometimes

The best one for me is Harry's Bar at Cuppage (Orchard Road), because it has Paul Ponnadurai, who is rated by Newsweek Magazine (and others) as one of the top guitarists in the world and who is certainly the best in Asia.
