There may be laws about disclosing an invention outside of Singapore without first getting a foreign filing license from some agency of Singapore. Therefore, you should probably contact an attorney in Singapore. A Singapore patent attorney will probably have contacts in the US who will file the application for you there. If there are no Singapore patent attorneys, then you can contact a U.S. Attorney or Agent directly. To find one go to www.uspto.gov and use the index to find the Roster of Attorney's and Agents.

What areas in and around Chiang Mai, Thailand are popular for foreigners to live or own property

What areas in and around Chiang Mai, Thailand are popular for foreigners to live or own property?
I live in Singapore and am considering a second home for occassional use and possibly as a vacation rental. Either house or condo would be considered.

This may be of some help. http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/index.htm

I live about 3 hours south of CM.. I know a few foreigners who have purchased up there at reasonable prices but have been unable to sell. It seems a unique mkt as the building is ahead of the demand.. and when people want to move on, it is not easy to get out. Rentals are also cheap. However, it depends, if you are looking solely for an investment or as an investment that you can enjoy, in which case it might not matter too much but I would not expect this area is prime for a quick profit... but if looking, you might be able to find a good deal from a re-seller who needs to relocate or already has...

This may be of help...you can not buy Thai LAND unless you are a citizen...so you probably want to focus on condos
