i live in serangoon, i think bishan/ang mo kio is good as its centralised...theres bishan park very peaceful and nice scenery, and also macritchie reservoir nearby...im a nature lover...bishan also have Junction8 for shopping...,

Preferred by Ang mohs (Expats) is Pasir Ris. Top 10 reasons: 1. New Mall in Downtown East with Ice skating Rink, Brand New cinemas, NTUC Fair Price, with state of the art Ferris Wheel - - to be completed late 2007 or early 2008. 2. Wild Wild Wet water theme Park. 3. Costa Sands Resort. 4. Escape Theme Park - - though already old 5. Pasir Ris Park - - Park by the sea, for canoeing, fishing, biking, jogging, barbecue party etc...nice scenery too. 6. Near Changi Airport. 7. Near Simei - -which has Changi Gen Hosp and St. Elizabeth Hosp. 8. Near Tampines - -which has Giant, Ikea, and Courts 9. Near Expo. 10. You can always bargain for the rental price since it is far from the City. . . although it's just 30 mins away by MRT. Which town can beat that?

I live in Woodlands now but used to live in Yishun. The best places to live in Singapore, are Yishun, Ang Mo Kio and Bishan. According to Fengshui, living there gives you prosperity and children have better school results. I love Yishun because it's only 20 min to town and there's an expressway, SLE nearby. Cab fares are cheap. There are buses that go to everywhere from Bukit Batok to Geylang - 851, 852, 853, 854, 855, 858 etc. The food in Yishun is cheap and good, just go to Chong Pang city hawker centre, the Hokkien Mee and Satay Mee Hoon is the best! For BBQ chicken wings, one must go to 848, it's great! So is the hairdressing service in Yishun Central. Even though we are no longer living there, my mum still goes back to Yishun to get her haircut. Yishun is near to many places of nature, Lower Seletar Reservoir, Pierce Reservoir. It's near to the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari. I used to take the bus 169 to Casuarina Rd to eat their fantastic prata and chicken masala. 169 used to bring me to school too. So you see, Yishun is really in the middle of all the action. It's also terrorists' prime target if they wanted to bomb Singapore. I'm so proud to say that even terrorists recognize the potential!

I think people love to live in Tampines/Pasir Ris due to its vibrant estates... I live in Jurong West

I would say, The Holland Close area thats where i used to lived. Its so close to town

Marine Parade. I just got a flat there. It's only 5 minutes drive to town, 5 minutes walk to East Coast Park. Residents here mostly enjoy outdoor activities and friendly.

Ang Mo Kio. There every time upgrade one, compared to other estates. Count how many times they upgrade over the past few years? The block 3XX opposite AMK HUB got water feature some more leh... hehe very sensitive
