No. Singapore's expensive. Rental for one flat -$1500-$2000 Cost of one meal for one person (adult) - $4, Transport - A trip to your work place daily - $1.50-$2 Handphone bills for 2 people - $150-$200 Internet bills - $40-$60 You work it our yourself. Singapore is VERY expensive.

is really not enough.. coz u have to take care of ur 1 year old dughter.. make it 6.5k...

Frankly speaking enough.. but not for luxary living. Rental - 2 bedroom/3 bedroom flat if u find good bargain -- Max 1500 SGD Food(ur family) -- Home cooking -- Gas,Electricity, Water, Vegetables, Milk and Groceries -- Max 1000 SGD Mobile and Internet and TV-- Max 200 SGD Playgroup to Kindergarden for child -- 150 to 200 SGD Transportation -- 150 to 200 SGD MRT/Bus. with a young child, probably not much left for savings....

It depends on your style of living...sometimes 10k also not enuf if u ar the sort of luxury person. Singapore is a FINE country!
