If I want to live in Singapore, will there be English teaching jobs available?
I am going, and I am just concerned because they already speak English there. I have a dagree in Japanese studies, and I will be doing the JET program for 5 years, but I am moving to Singapore afterwards to live... Can I find work?

It won't be easy to find a English teaching jobs in Singapore, but it depends greatly on your qualification and experience. You can try to apply online via those job listing websites: http://www.activesingapore.com/singapore-jobs-websites.html Good Luck.

You cannot even spell a simple word such as "degree" correctly and you want to teach English ? Go elsewhere and fool some other people cos your ruse will be quickly found out in Singapore and you will be booted out and sitting on your bum in no time. On a more serious note, teachers in the private schools here teaching English to foreigners from around the region have internationally recognised qualifications to teach English. You'll have to compete with them if you want to find this sort of work here.

There is a fairly large Japanese community here. Worse case scenario, you can always approach some private school to offer an Japanese-English tutoring class.

There is a need for teachers in Singapore, I am sure they can do with another English teacher? If you can work well with children and can enjoy passing on knowledge to the next generation and have patience, you are the candidate for this job!
