1. The 4D Magix ride is basically a movie theatre that has 3d effects upon wearing the crystal glasses, and the moving, chairs wind and water elements are also programmed to movie with the movie's plots for better experience. 2. I'm not sure what does your "bestest" mean. Best hotels would probably be Fullerton Hotel or Raffles Hotel. Average great hotels would be Pan Pacific, Conrad Hotel, Oriental Hotel, Marina Mandarin Hotel... 3. Frankly as a Singaporean, i think the rides here are never as nice as in overseas, but outside Sentosa, you might want to try the reverse bun-gee. 4. Bestest shopping? Come now, it's great everywhere, it's the Great Singapore Sale now. Other than that, most malls in Singapore are great, famous ones are Suntec City, Vivo City (Just outside Sentosa on main island).
