I have received a job offer for 2200 SG$. would this be sufficient for 2 people to survive comfortably in Singapore? of course my plan is to get a small apartment or share a room with friends until my husband can get a job and support to get a house. we have no kids so its only the two of us. please advice me as i need to make a quick decision and im in two minds on if im to grab this opportunity or just let go.

Survive comfortably - yes. Your major expense would be for housing. You should be able to get a room for less than a thousand a month depending on the location. For food, should budget about $10 a month. Public transportation is very convenient and should cost you about $6-10 per day. The rest would be discretionary spending.
