In which part of Singapore do most people live? - All over the country, Jurong,Woodlands,Tampines,Hougang, those HDB Estates. What do you think is the reason for this of population density? -Rapid urbanisation, relocating villagers to those HDB Estates Who were the indigenous people in Singapore? - A mixture of malay people from the region. How does the population density impact on Singapore living conditions?

In which part of Singapore do most people live? > Ang Mo Kio, Toa Payoh, Jurong What do you think is the reason for this of population density? > Ang Mo Kio & Toa Payoh are the older and also some of the bigger estates in Singapore so there is a higher density. > Jurong is also high in density due to its estate size and property prices used to be cheaper so many people buy flats there. Who were the indigenous people in Singapore? > Malays. How does the population density impact on Singapore living conditions? > Most of us live in HDB flats so the impact is that we look like cooped up birds in a cage stacked atop one another. (A friend actually pointed this out to me long ago. Its not meant to be an insult to us, Most flats have window grills, when you're walking along the neighbourhood just look up. Imagine everyone is standing at their windows.)
