Whoa, you mean you do have a place to reside? Its pretty hard for you and your wife (maybe) to reside in Singapore if your wife do not have a job and thats for 2 person. You need to rent a cheap place like this if you don't mind. If not, don't accept cause its not enough for you and your wife to survive in Singapore as its so expensive nowadays. If you can budget another amount for you and your wife to reside, then go ahead as its enough for both of you to live moderately. Eat at hawker centers, food court or fast food restaurant, take public transport, use water and electricity moderately, using hand phone and/or telephone wisely etc. will be sufficent for both of your.

Definetly not enough for 2 persons. Rental wise is Expensive.

not enough. 2500 is too little!

Will they withhold a portion of your salary for tax? If so, you need to work it out as well. If you don't mind staying in our public apartments (aka HDB flats) and sharing it with your landlord, I think it is fine as rental is the single most expensive item right now. living costs are also rising. Do make sure e place you stay is near to your workplace and amenties.
